Sensuous silk

Arouse the fire gently

Set my skin ablaze with our slow passion

Comforting flannel

Keeping the ardor of our embrace

Silk and flannel

Odd and just

Mirrors the paradox of our desire

When I give up Resistance

Gentleness and Harmony

Flourish in me.

When I let go of Resentment

Contentment and Love

Take that space.

When I practice Kindness

A Soft Heart and Generosity

Become me.

When I Accept

Life just as it is

I am Empowered and able to

Participate Wholly in it.

There are not enough tears in the world

For all the reasons  I cry today

Horrified tears of deepest sorrow

For lost children and the brokenhearted

Hopeless tears of futile anger

For helplessness and endless fear

Still, in all the painful sadness

Other tears fall unbidden

From the overflowing of my heart

Grateful tears of sweetest joy

For all the love surrounding me

Gentle tears of purest love

For those hearts I hold for safekeeping

There are not enough tears in the world

For all I must cry today.
